Combat Conditioning
Rob English Combat Conditioning and Martial Arts is a program unlike any other. The program is designed differently than your local MMA gym or typical Self Defense School. The Program is well rounded to suit not only males, but females as well. Whether your goal is to be able to protect yourself on the street or hop into the cage and fight professionally, this program is what you are looking for. No matter how long you train you will continue to develop and hone your martial skills.
Your mental, physical, and character disciplines will be challenged as you would not expect from your average school. The mental discipline will create a smarter more aware individual. It will help decision making under any condition from everyday life, to those situations that we never want to have to encounter. A key element of the physical discipline is combat conditioning. I am not talking about going to war when I say combat, but in a sense, you must have that type of mindset. PT sessions are rigorous, long and brutal in most cases are not for everybody. Every class begins with stretching and body hardening and a warm up. Combat Conditioning may consist of different types of drills and exercises, bull-in-the-ring drills, pit drills, knife exercises and cohesion exercises all enhance muscular and cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, strength and speed. Character discipline consists of human dimensions of combat and self defense. It is the spiritual aspect of each individual. It is designed to instill the Martial Artist mindset. Additionally, the character discipline consists of other components that instill the confidence needed to become a true Martial Artist. Character discipline will develop the individual as a responsible combative. Philosophy of combat conditioning, force (self) protection, and the mental discipline study of safety and risk management will spin it all together into a synergy.
Individuals will not only understand the mechanics of techniques and safety, but embrace the concept of being safe in their daily lives. Maturity, judgment, and moral character are required not only for entry into the program, but to advance as well. With that being said, this is not a youth program! It is for serious individuals only! You will develop an elite level of maturity and self-discipline. You must show the tactical and technical proficiency required to remain in the program. It takes the three disciplines of mental, physical, and character to achieve what is expected of you. You will build a combination of the best mind, body, and spirit imaginable.
